Motorists across Pakistan will pay less at the pump from Friday, November 6, 2026, after the government announced a fresh cut in fuel prices. Petrol now costs Rs352.59 per litre, while high-speed diesel is priced at Rs382.25 per litre.

What happened?

The federal government announced the latest revision on Thursday, November 5, 2026, with the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) notifying the new ex-depot prices. It is the latest in a run of daily price cuts this week, following reductions that took effect on November 4 and November 5. OGRA has also begun publishing daily petroleum prices on its website so changes in international oil prices reach consumers more quickly.

Key details

  • Petrol: Rs352.59 per litre, down Rs9.41 from Rs362.00.
  • High-speed diesel: Rs382.25 per litre, down Rs5.56 from Rs387.81.
  • The revised prices take effect from November 6, 2026.
  • The previous day’s revision had already cut petrol by Rs7.06 to Rs362.00 and diesel by Rs3.71 to Rs387.81.

What it means for people in Pakistan

Lower fuel prices bring some relief to households, commuters and transporters, and can ease costs for businesses that depend on road transport. Diesel in particular affects freight and farming costs, so the reduction may help keep the prices of transported goods in check. Motorists should still check the pump price before filling up, as station-level rates can vary slightly.
